Instagram Will Now Let Users Publish Photos, Videos From Instagram Web

It has recently come to light that users can now post photos and videos on Instagram directly via its desktop app on Mac and PC. The new update will allow users to edit pictures and videos, write in the caption, all through the Instagram web. This functionality was first revealed by industry insider Matt Navarra.

This will come in really handy to users as they can directly upload the pictures that they have stored on their laptops without having to do it from only mobile apps. As per the reports, not all Instagram users have received this update yet and it looks like Instagram is currently only testing this feature among few users before officially releasing it to the public. For those of you who are interested in learning how you can create posts directly via Instagram web, follow these easy steps:

  • Log in to Instagram web, and then click the (+) icon that will be visible on the top right corner of the website.
  • Once clicked, select the image from your laptop or PC and choose a different size for images (original, square, portrait, and landscape).
  • Select the filter from a slew of different filters offered by Instagram. Users can also adjust the brightness, contrast, and other editing options to tweak the image. Once done editing, add a caption, tags, and location (if you want to), and that’s it. Hit the publish button and your post will be live.
